The people of Aba La Ohazu, comprising the two Local Government Areas of Aba North and Aba South Local Government Areas have unanimously endorsed Governor Alex Otti for a second term in office.

The people made their stand through the thank you and solidarity visit of a delegation of stakeholders including traditional rulers, women groups and youths representing the entire villages in Aba North and South LGAs to Governor Otti at his Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA country home.

Speaking while conveying the messages, a former T.C Chairman and chairman of PDP in Aba, Elder Chima Mbama and host of others recalled how Governor Otti has turned around infrastructure in Aba, particularly, the Ohanku, Port Harcourt and many other roads, adding that Governor Otti is their sole candidate for future governorship election.

Elder Mbama while pointing out that Governor Otti has turned around Aba through his environmental policy and redefined governance, said that Governor Otti has set a standard in governance,

Speaking on behalf of traditional rulers of Aba La Ohazu, Eze Love Nwogu and Eze Njoku said that their people appreciate the infrastructural development Governor Otti has brought into Aba including the positive results and economic growth they now witness in Aba as a result of the transformative works of Governor Otti.

Introducing the delegation and his people to the Governor earlier, the Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Mr Emmanuel Emeruwa said that his people came with one purpose, which is their resolve to support the Governor for reelection, assuring

that the Aba Ngwa people are solidly behind Governor Otti.

Responding, the Governor,Dr Alex Otti thanked the people of Aba La Ohazu for their consistent support for his administration, adding that he has always won elections in Aba, right from 2015.

Governor Otti, who appreciated the group for acknowledging his modest efforts in the State,assured that work would resume at Omuma road even as Uratta road would soon receive attention.

The Governor challenged the people of Aba la Ohazu to ensure that eligible individuals obtain their Permanent Voters Card and ensure they participate in the ongoing Labour Party online registration.

In his speech,, the Mayor of Aba South, Chief Obialor Anyanwu commended Governor Otti for his human and infrastructural development in Aba, pointing out that his government has greatly favoured the people of Aba .
