BCA Acting DG Commends Retiring Staff of the Corporation

The Acting Director General of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State (BCA), Mr. Francis Nwubani has commended his immediate predecessor, Mrs. Esther Agu-Anyanwu and other retiring staff of Finance Department of the BCA for their modest contributions to the department and BCA at large while their service years lasted.

Mr. Nwubani made the commendation while speaking at the Send-Forth Ceremony organized by the Finance Department of the BCA in honour of their retiring staff, and appreciated the retired staff for their hardwork and commitment to duty.

The Acting DG of BCA appreciated his predecessor, Mrs. Agu-Anyanwu for laying the foundation which he is building upon and prayed God to bless her future endeavours and other retirees.

In remarks, the Head of Finance Department of the BCA, Mrs. Blessing Goddy-Eze described the day as historic and appreciated the retirees for making the department and BCA proud as well as for the remarkable and unforgettable impact they made in the department.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Send-Forth Planning Committee, Mrs. Ngozi Nwachukwu and the Chairman of the Finance Welfare Association, Comrade Chinedu Uturu pointed out that the event was organized to celebrate years of dedication, commitment and invaluable contributions to the Finance department and the significant roles the retirees played in shaping the strength, unity and progress they enjoy today in the department adding that their services, sacrifices and unwavering dedication will not be forgotten.

Responding on behalf of others, the immediate past Acting Director General of the BCA, Mrs. Esther Agu-Anyanwu, thanked the Finance Department for the honour done them while urging the staff of the BCA to continue to work in peace, love and harmony to move the Corporation forward.

Our Correspondent reports that the event featured presentation of gift items to the retirees and goodwill messages from some of staff of the BCA including Comrade Ifeanyi Sunday, Deaconess Chinyere Kingsley-Onuoha, Mrs. Ijeoma Okorie among others.
