BREAKING: 2027: Chief Enyinnaya Duke Ako-Atulomah Declares Intent for House of Representatives Race

A prominent figure in Abia politics, Chief Dr. Enyinnaya Duke Ako-Atulomah, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of Member, Federal House of Representatives representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North & South Federal Constituency in the 2027 General Elections.

Running under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the respected leader, popularly known as Ugwumbadike Ndi Igbo, described his ambition as a call to service rather than mere political pursuit.

According to him, his declaration signals the beginning of a movement focused on inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, sustainable development, and renewed hope for the people of Ikwuano and Umuahia. He emphasized the need to amplify the voices of constituents and implement policies that will drive real and lasting progress.

The official declaration event is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Ezeleke Primary School, Umuabali, Umuopara in Umuahia South Local Government Area by 4:00 PM.

In his message to the people, Chief Ako-Atulomah called on stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women, and the general public to unite and take advantage of the 2027 elections as a defining moment for the constituency.

He stated that the journey ahead presents an opportunity to choose progress over stagnation, unity over division, and vision over uncertainty.

Residents across Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and Umuahia South have been warmly invited to attend the event and participate in what is being described as a historic step toward building a better future for the constituency.

The announcement has already begun generating conversations within political circles, as attention gradually shifts toward the 2027 general elections.
