Governor Otti expresses commitment towards sustainable development across sectors of the state
The Governor Dr Alex Otti says his administration is committed to providing necessary infrastructure framework to promote the ease of doing business, improve rapid growth, social well-being and sustainable development across all sectors.

Dr Otti who stated this while officially declaring open, Abia Domestic Trade Fair holding at the BCA International Field organized by Umuahia Chamber of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture UCCIMA said that the event is not just a ceremonial gathering but a bold step that reflects collective commitment to economic growth, business expansion and strengthening enterprise, innovation and explore new market ventures.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Trade and Commerce Dr Salome Obiukwu said that such trade fairs serve as a catalyst for economic emancipation, provide a unique opportunity for business opportunities and commended the Leadership of UCCIMA for her vision and untire less efforts in organizing the Trade Fair exhibition aimed at promoting enterprise and fostering business friendly environment in the State.

In their remarks the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Commerce Chief Nwaka Inem, and Acting Director General BCA Mr Francis Nwaubani represented by Director of Special Duties Mr Eric Nwokeyi disclosed the trade fair exhibition is a testament to what the administration of Dr Alex Otti is doing in promoting the ease of doing business adding that transformation initiative can only happen through collaboration.

In Her Remarks, the President, Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Dr Catherine Igbokwe said the trade fair was designed to support numerous efforts of the Governor in promoting businesses and his administration’s commitment to Infrastructural development across all sectors and appealed to the State Government to allocate the Agency with a permanent office to function optimally.
