Governor Alex Otti says his administration will continue to identify and appreciate the supportive role of Churches and every well meaning Abians in the state.

Governor Otti who stated this during the First Session of the Seventh Synod of the Diocese of Ikwuano and Thanksgiving Service with the theme “Seated With Christ An Enviable Position,” organized by the Anglican Communion Church, Ikwuano Diocese held at Church of Pentecost, Umuariaga Oboro Archdeaconry, said that his administration is committed to transform the state and assured Abians of inclusive governance.

The Governor who was represented by Pastor Monday Enyinnaya, enjoined Christians to humble themselves, exercise patience and wait for God’s appointed time in their lives and commended the Leadership of Anglican Communion Church Ikwuano Diocese for their support to his administration in the state.

In His Keynote Address, the President and Founder Masters Energy Group, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, enjoined Christians to protect their allegiance with God and true identity of Christ in them through propagating the gospel of soul winning for God, salvation and repentance.

Dr Ogah said Abians are enjoying what good governance should look like because they collectively desire a transformational change in Leadership and commended him for his administration’s visible achievements across the State.

Delivering his Presidential Address, the Anglican Bishop of Ikwuano Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Chigozie Onyegbule, described the theme of the Synod as a wake up call for believers to redouble efforts in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world for redemption of souls and commended the Governor Alex Otti for the good things his administration is doing in the State.

The Rt. Rev. Chigozie Onyegbule further appealed to the State Government and Good Spirited Individuals to assist them financially to enable them complete their ongoing Cathedral Building project.

The event attracted the presence of Anglican Bishops, APGA Aspirant for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal House of Representative, Chief Randy Ukawoko, Knights of Anglican Church among other top Government Officials.
