DG BCA Condoles Nwosu Family Over Matriarch’s Demise

The Director-General of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State (BCA), Mr Francis Nwubani, has condoled the family of the late Ezinne Mrs Angelina Nwosu of Umuezu Nsirimo, Umuahia South Local Government Area, following her demise and burial.

Speaking after the funeral service held at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Nsirimo Archdeaconry, Mr Nwubani particularly condoled his friend and classmate, Mr Orji Ukonu, the only son of the deceased and urged him to uphold and preserve the admirable legacies of integrity, love and service left behind by his late mother.

The BCA Director-General described death as the inevitable end of every mortal and encouraged the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that their mother lived a fulfilled life, attaining the age of 86 years. He further urged them to remain steadfast in the Christian hope of the resurrection, when believers will be reunited with their loved ones in Christ Jesus.

The burial ceremony attracted classmates of the chief mourner, Mr Orji Ukonu, from the Government College Umuahia Old Boys Association, as well as friends, associates and well-wishers from different walks of life, who gathered to pay their final respects to the late matriarch.
