Abia State Government Cancels April Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The Abia State Government hereby announces the cancellation of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise throughout the State earlier scheduled for tomorrow Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Abia residents are hereby informed that there will be no restriction of movements on Saturday.

Citizens are encouraged to go about their normal and lawful activities without interruption.

The Ministry of Environment, however, encourages Abians to maintain a clean and healthy environment by practicing proper sanitation in their homes, markets, and places of business.
