Dr. Christian Anokwuru, has extolled the Executive Members of Abia State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, for exhibiting outstanding leadership

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Policies and Interventions, Dr. Christian Anokwuru, has extolled the Executive Members of Abia State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, for exhibiting outstanding leadership qualities under the incumbent President, Chief Alphosus Udeigbo which has stabilized the economic sector of the State.

Dr. Anokwuru who gave the commendation while receiving the ASMATA team in his office attributed the economic vibrancy of the State to the roles of ASMATA leadership which have yielded to the success of the present Administration and encouraged them not to relent.

According to him, the State has within three years enjoyed peace and serenity in various markets and assured that their requests will be channeled to the appropriate authorities for prompt action.

Speaking earlier, the Secretary, ASMATA, Chief Uzochukwu Uzosike said their visit is to congratulate him on his appointment, while thanking Governor Otti for appointing Dr Anokwuru, noting that he will bring his experiences to bear in the discharge of his duties.

He extolled the Governor for the ongoing transformation in the State, noting that ASMATA has embarked on a sensitization visit to forty Markets and Plaza in the State in support of the Governor Otti’s candidacy, and enumerated the Office Accommodation, Fund and Mobility challenges facing them.

In a vote of thanks, the President General, Abia State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, Chief Alphosus Udeigbo, thanked Dr. Anokwuru for the warm reception accorded them, promising the Association’s unflinching support for Dr Alex Otti – led administration.
