Gov Otti Celebrates Sen. Ngige at 74, Describes him as an Illustrious Nigerian 

The Governor of Abia State Dr. Alex Otti has felicitated with a former Governor of Anambra State, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige on the occasion of his 74th birthday.

In a birthday message endorsed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Mr Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otti expressed joy that Senator Ngige is alive and in good health to attain and celebrate such a milestone, describing it as heartwarming.

Governor Otti described Senator Ngige as an illustrious Nigerian and statesman who has contributed immensely to the development of his home state of Anambra in particular, and Nigeria in general.

According to the Governor: “I feel elated to celebrate my brother and friend, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige (Onwa), as he marks his 74th birthday anniversary.

“I am even more elated that he is celebrating in sound health. Senator Ngige is an illustrious Nigerian and statesman who has distinguished *himself* and contributed immensely to the development of Anambra in particular, and Nigeria in general, through his service as Governor, Senator, and Minister hence, my conviction that he is deserving of celebration at 74,” Governor Otti stated.

Governor Otti noted that Senator Ngige has through service as Governor, Senator, and Minister Distinguished himself , adding that the attainment of 74 years in good health is well deserving of him.

The Abia Chief Executive enjoined Senator Ngige to remain committed to nation-building, especially at a time like this when his wealth of knowledge and experience are most needed to deepen the nation’s democracy and improve the economic well-being of the people.

Finally, Governor Otti, on behalf of his family, the Government, and the people of Abia State, wished Senator Ngige a very happy birthday and many happy returns.
